PCFA - Promoting Friendship, Education, Trade & Tourism between Pakistan and Cuba such as Culture, Health, Education, Science, Sports.

Since Oct 8, 2005, when Pakistani people where face with a Natural Disaster of Earth Quake just wondered how and from where to get help for the earthquake effected people (especially for northern area community) at that time the Cuban President His Excellency Fidel Castro ordered Cuban medical team to jump in to the court and gives us best of their expertise. They don’t even ask for any financial aid from Pakistani government for medication, not only this they got their food with them because they realize the situation of Pakistan so they don’t want to put burden on Pakistani government. It is prudent that we ask what is being done by government and civil society, in particular.

After that marvelous struggle to get our men out of trouble and make them health enough to built Pakistani nation again and contributes one’s max effort. So we did and we are looking forward to build our nations more stronger as it ever before.

 On October 8, 2005 Cuban raise their hand for our help, now we took initiative to build stronger and meaningful relation between two nations.  A friendship relation to communicate and offer thanks by our ways.

    Achievements:

    •  "See Cuba" Seminars were held all across Pakistan

    • Telephonic Campaign for awareness about  Cuban-Medial Aid

    • Establishment of InfoCenter in Lahore [A place where people can get all information about Cuba]

    • FreeTheFive Petition [This is still in progress, PCFA is working hard to get support of as many as possible]

    • Launch of PCFA Portal - A Gateway of Information about Cuba
       

    Participation in Conferences:

    PCFA  has not participated in the recent event of 4th Asia Pacific Conference due to the factors explained to the Cuban Ambassador in Pakistan. We at PCFA want to unite all associations, a Idea which is not yet encouraged. President -PCFA explains that a delegation from PCFA will visit Cuba once it get confirmation about its meeting with Ex-President Fidel Castro and current President Raul Castro.

    Proposals to Cuban Government:

    Confidential in Nature and directly submitted to Cuban Government, it is almost 99% approved.
